Here’s the emailbag for the past couple of months. I picked some highlights, including this one from the Times-News editor emeritus, Don Bolden, regarding the change in historical information about Pyle’s Defeat, a Revolutionary War battle. Interesting story on the Pyle marker this morning. I have heard that site argue for years, and some claim it took place north of Burlington at Ossipee on Haw River.
